CRI Seal of Approval Expands

According to the Carpet and Rug Institute (CRI), its Seal of Approval (SOA) testing and certification program for carpet cleaning products and equipment has grown again with the addition of multiple products in the solutions and vacuums categories. There are currently 331 solutions, 286 vacuums, 93 extractors and 88 systems in the Seal of Approval program, for a total of 798.

A majority of U.S. adults prefer to do business with a company that uses green cleaning products and practices, according to a new survey commissioned by Cintas Corporation. The telephone poll was conducted by Harris Interactive in March 2011 among more than 1,000 adults ages 18 and older, and found that 84 percent of those surveyed have a preference for companies using green cleaning products.
